GrowBarrels are an easy-to-use, portable, self-watering container garden. If you love to eat fresh foods, GrowBarrels can provide you with fresh vegetables and flowers throughout the season! More info on GrowBarrels can be found here. Whether you do not have access to green space or just want to try a unique way to garden, come learn to build a GrowBarrel! SECIA will hold building workshops on:

  • April 9th at 1:30 P.M.
  • April 30th at 10:00 A.M.
  • May 28th at 10:00 A.M.
  • June 18th at 10:00 A.M.

SECIA will provide the container, soil, plants and building supplies. We will be re-using recyclable juice and soda containers for this project, so bring 15-20 empty, two-quart (or larger) beverage bottles for your GrowBarrel. To register, fill out the form below or request one from gardens@secomo.org. For off-line registration, call SECIA at 612-676-1731.
