FACT: An easy way to reduce the amount of waste from community events is to switch from disposable tablecloths and dishware to items that can be washed and reused instead.

Easy Eco-Tip

 Using Recycled Paper

FACT: Choosing to use recycled paper instead of virgin (unrecycled) paper in your home or office is another easy way to lessen your impact on the environment.  Recycled paper has less of an impact on forest resources, air pollution, water pollution, water consumption, energy consumption, and solid waste then virgin paper.

 Composting Organic

   Waste With Worm Bins

 Green household cleaners

Easy Eco-Tip

FACT: Using washable hand towels for cleaning and drying off is an easy way to eliminate paper waste while still getting the same things accomplished.  Hand towels are easy to clean and reuse and will save money in the long run compared to using paper towels.

Easy Eco-Tip

100% Recycled Home Tissue Products

FACT: products made from recycled paper helps reduce the need for virgin wood pulp. If every household in the United States replaced just one roll of virgin fiber toilet paper (500 sheets) with 100% recycled ones, we could save 423,900 trees. Not to mention the millions of gallons of water that is required to process those trees.
